Senior React / Next.js Developer
Own the frontend of client products end to end: architecture, components, performance, and the demo. You'll ship Next.js applications for international clients and review the work of other engineers on your squad.
What you'd be doing here
We're looking for a senior frontend engineer who has shipped real Next.js applications to real users and has the scars to prove it. You'll join a squad of three to five engineers building products for clients in the GCC, UK, and US, and you'll be the person the team looks to when a rendering strategy, caching decision, or component architecture question needs an answer.
This isn't a ticket-factory role. You'll join client standups, demo your own work every sprint, and push back on requirements when the simpler thing is the better thing. Our engineers talk directly to the CTOs and product owners they build for, so clear written and spoken English matters as much as clean TypeScript.
You'll also spend part of your time on our own products, Edutig and Linetig. Operating software you built yourself changes how you build for clients, and we think that rotation is one of the best growth accelerators we offer.
What you'll own
Architect and build production Next.js applications with the App Router, from initial scaffolding to deployment.
Own frontend performance: Core Web Vitals, bundle budgets, image and font strategy, and caching behavior.
Review pull requests daily and mentor mid-level engineers on your squad through those reviews.
Join client standups, present your work in sprint demos, and turn ambiguous requirements into clear technical plans.
Build accessible, responsive interfaces from Figma designs, and improve the designs when something doesn't translate.
Write and maintain component tests and end-to-end tests so refactors stay cheap.
Collaborate with backend engineers on API contracts, and shape them rather than just consuming them.
Contribute to our internal component patterns and frontend conventions used across projects.
What we're looking for
5+ years of professional frontend development, with at least 2 years of production React and TypeScript.
Deep, practical Next.js experience: server components, data fetching and caching, rendering trade-offs, and deployment.
A track record of shipping and maintaining applications that real users depend on, not just demos.
Strong CSS fundamentals and comfort with Tailwind CSS or an equivalent utility-first workflow.
Experience with testing tools such as Playwright, Vitest, or Jest, and the judgment to know what's worth testing.
Clear written and spoken English; you'll communicate with international clients directly.
Comfort working in two-week sprints with code review on every merge.
Bonus points, not blockers
If some of these describe you, mention it. If none do, apply anyway.
Experience with React Native or Expo for shared-code mobile work.
Familiarity with headless CMS platforms, internationalization, or multi-tenant SaaS frontends.
Contributions to open source, a technical blog, or conference talks.
Experience mentoring juniors formally or informally.
Tools you'll work with
Four steps, no surprises
We designed the process to respect your time and show you ours: every step mirrors how we actually work.
Application review
Apply through the form on this page. We read every application ourselves and reply within a week, including when the answer is no.
Technical interview
A conversation with senior engineers about systems you have built, decisions you made, and trade-offs you would make differently. No trick puzzles.
Practical exercise
A small, time-boxed task close to real project work, reviewed together like a normal code review. We evaluate how you think, communicate, and take feedback.
Culture conversation & offer
A final discussion with a delivery lead about how you like to work, followed by a clear written offer. The whole process typically takes two to three weeks.
